How to Install Fonts

Windows Installing TrueType / OpenType Fonts in Windows Vista
  • Extract the archive
  • Right-click the font
  • Click "Install"
Installing TrueType / OpenType Fonts in Any Version of Windows
  • Extract the font archive
  • Copy or move the font into either
    C:\Windows\Fonts
    or
    C:\WINNT\Fonts
    (depending on your version)
    This folder may also be accessed from your windows control panel
Macintosh Installing TrueType / OpenType Fonts in Mac OS X
  • Drag and drop your fonts into either
    /Library/Fonts (all users)
    or
    /Users/*/Library/Fonts (yourself)
  • If you have Font Book, you can easily install a font by double-clicking and clicking "Install Font"
Other versions of Mac are not unsupported.
Linux Installing TrueType / OpenType Fonts in Linux
  • Extract the font archive and copy your new font files into fonts:/// via the File manager.
